All Set for Philippine National Sports Coaching Conference

Veteran swimming coach Wilfred Arzaga from Canada will arrive in August to be the main guest speaker in the PHILIPPINE NATIONAL SPORTS COACHING CONFERENCE to be held under the auspices of the Federation of School Sports Association of the Philippines (FESSAP), the sole governing body recognized by the FISU (Federation Internationale du Sport Universitaire) in coordination with Philippine Aquatics Sports Coaches Association Inc. (PASCAI) and TYR Philippines.
Arzaga will also conduct a seminar during his stay in the country.

In the Luzon region, the contact person is Coach Emer Matienzo (09054140726) for the seminar to be held in Bosay Resort Hotel & Conference Center, Antipolo, from August 31-September 2, 2018.
In the Visayas and Mindanao regions, the contact person is Coach Cris Pesar (09206892132) for the seminar to be held in Bacolod City from August 17-19, 2018.
Invited to take part in the seminar are the sports coaches, physical education teachers and athletes, including swimmers, from the different regions in the country. Parents who are involved in sports and sports enthusiasts, in general, are also welcomed to attend the event.
Among the topics and issues to be discussed during the seminar are the following:
a. Principles of Sport Coaching;
b. Principles of Sport Management;
c. Principles of Sports Behavior;
d. Principles of Sport Teaching; and
e. Principles of Sports in Physical Training.
The FESSAP will be represented by Professor Robert Milton A. Calo, the FESSAP Executive Vice President, in partnership with the PASCAI and Wilfred Arzaga, who is expected to share his thoughts on the different aspects of sports during the Philippine National Sports Coaching Conference.
